Sue Malley
Sue joined the team at Hollybank in 2012 and has really enjoyed getting to know our clients and their pets over the years.Having enjoyed a number of years on our reception desk, Sue now looks after our practice administration.
Sue lives locally with her family and her eldest daughter’s very feisty tabby cat, Maggie!
Outside of work, Sue looks forward to spending time with friends and family or heading out for a good walk in the fresh air!
Jill Stokes
Having worked in various customer service and administration roles for over 20 years, Jill joined the Hollybank team in February 2021. She works alongside Sue looking after the practice administration.
Jill lives locally with her husband, son and daughter. Spending time with family and friends, visiting new places, music (and everything chocolate!), are just a few of her favourite things!
Jane Dawson
Jane started working at Hollybank in August 2015 having previously worked for the local council. Jane worked as a receptionist for many years and has recently moved to an administrative role at our Winnington branch.
When she can, Jane still enjoys meeting new customers, catching up with familiar customers and getting to know all of their pets.
Jane has a dog called Meg who she enjoys taking for walks. Her other hobbies include horse riding and keeping fit.
Pam Lummis
Pam joined Hollybank Vets in September 2015 coming from seven years in the hospitality industry.
Pam bred and showed English Bull Terriers for over twenty years and even had one appear as Bullseye in Oliver at Manchester Opera House.
Sarah Cox
Sarah started work as a receptionist at Hollybank in 2015. She is a familiar face to many and loves her job.
She particularly enjoys getting to know our clients and their pets and is always willing to give a new puppy a cuddle!
Outside of work Sarah is kept busy walking her four dogs and being a fabulous Nanna!
Rebecca Chapman
Rebecca (Becca for short) joined Hollybank in 2021. She has lived in Northwich for twelve years.
In her spare time she loves long walks in the countryside with her Patterjack, Russell and Patterdale, Miley, who are very cheeky and like to keep her on her toes!
Becca loves animals, spending time with her nephew Leo, home interior, baking and the occasional Primark trip!
Amy Hassall
Amy started at Hollybank in April 2022, joining her twin sister Abby and the lovely team at Hollybank. She has previously worked in a range of customer facing roles.
At Hollybank she enjoys getting to know our clients and their beloved pets.
In her spare time Amy loves spending her days with her two dogs, Wilf and Nell. She spends most weekends exploring in Wales and going climbing, biking or walking.
Shannon Whelan
Having always wanted to work in the veterinary industry, Shannon began her first veterinary receptionist job in 2022 and joined the Hollybank team in 2024.
Shannon has always worked in various customer facing roles and enjoy getting to know clients and their pets.
Outside of work she enjoys exploring and going on long country walks. She also enjoy baking and spending time with friends.
Samantha Steele
Sam recently joined the Hollybank team after many years working in NHS payroll – she has found swapping spreadsheets for spaniels and staffies has been quite the (welcome) change!
Sam is really enjoying getting to know all the lovely owners and their pets.
When she is not at work, you’ll usually find her making silver jewellery (or trying to), in the grounds of a National Trust estate, or out watching live music with family and friends.
Izzy Matzen
Izzy joined the Hollybank team in August 2025 after completing an Art and Design course at college. She has always had a love for animals, especially thanks to her own dog and cat.
Her favourite part of working on reception is hearing all the funny stories about people’s pets!
Outside of work, Izzy enjoys woodland walks, travelling and the occasional Italian dinner!
Nikki Mercer
Nikki started at Hollybank in June 2025. Formerly, Nikki has been a holistic therapist, a caregiver for seniors and had various reception roles.
Nikki enjoys being part of such a great team and getting to know people and their pets.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking, studying and going to the gym.
