Covid Update – 19/7/21
Whilst legal restrictions are coming to an end, case numbers are rising rapidly and the number of people self-isolating as in-contacts is becoming vast.
At Hollybank we have a dual responsibility to protect the health and wellbeing of our team and to ensure we are always available for our clients and patients. Many of our staff are young and have not yet been fully vaccinated. We must continue to be cautious to keep both clients and staff safe and to avoid any unnecessary self-isolation. As such, the use of PPE remains vital and we will continue to wear full PPE (apron, mask, gloves and visor) at all times we are in close contact with each other or clients. In addition we politely request that clients continue to wear a facecovering and respect social distancing wherever possible.
At Hollybank the hospital will remain closed to the public. The redevelopment of our reception area has been delayed by the building contractors having to self-isolate and so we will continue to come out to the carpark. We will review this once the building work has been completed.
At Winnington we are delighted to continue to welcome clients into the waiting area and consulting rooms. We do still request that facecoverings continue to be worn in order to protect our team and ensure they remain available to care for patients.
Thank you for your ongoing patience and support. Our team has been available 24 hours a day 7 days a week throughout the entire pandemic – I am very proud of them all and the exceptional care they provide.
