Time alone

Although it may be very tempting to spend a lot of time with your puppy, remember to give them some time alone so that they do not suffer with separation anxiety when routines return to normal. Make sure they also have plenty of opportunities to sleep undisturbed – some puppies may need to sleep for up to 20 hours a day.
