Noises

It is important to get your puppy used to a variety of sounds such as fireworks, traffic, domestic noises etc. The Dogs Trust website has an excellent free ‘Sounds sociable’ download that includes a collection of sounds that every puppy should be familiar with and useful information about housetraining, play biting and settling your puppy at night. Start with the sounds very low and gradually turn the volume up as your puppy progresses. If your puppy shows any signs of distress, turn back to a level of volume that he/she is happy to ignore.
