Written prescriptions are available upon request from this practice.

You may obtain prescription-only medicines, category V ( POM-V) from us OR ask for a written prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgeon or pharmacy.

A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an in-patient or if immediate treatment is necessary.

You will be informed upon request, of the price of any medicine that may be prescribed for your animal.

The general policy of this practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions every 3 months, but this does vary with individual circumstances and conditions. The standard charge for re-examination is £52.50 (inc VAT).

The standard charge for issuing a written prescription to be filled elsewhere is £27.50 (inc VAT)
